I had a read of this “debate” in the HoC the other day. David Miliband answers each question with essentially the same answer which can be summed up as: “We say that the Lisbon Treaty is in your best interests, therefore you should have it whether you want it or not.”
Is it any wonder that people are p*ssed off with politics? When did “democracy” come to mean “we’ll force you to do what we think is right”? I am fed up of being treated as if I am too stupid to make my own mind up.
