In very olden days of old when knights were old, a bad person would be ousted by the community, or sanctions applied, until the bad behaviour moderated or they were run out of town. No one wants viggi vigill mob rule, but we can't go on expecting an ever diminishing police force and weak justice system to disappear up their own arses while the rest stand by looking the other way.
