A growing incidence in this phenomenon correlates with higher levels of daytime stress and late night consumption of alcohol, Blue. A change in dietary habits and consumption of slow releasing sugars, can work wonders by itself when a job change is not immediately practical.

I think Mr Stressed and Mrs Lilith have it about right – in combination. I am wound up like a coiled spring at the moment and that combined with the enjoyment of fine red wine might just be doing me in!
Luckily I am on a fitness drive as well which helps with the physical tiredness required to sleep properly. This is an improvement on my last stress cycle of a few months ago.
there is nothing worse than trying to run your body clock with chemicals however If it gets bad then I found herbal nytol worked quite well, then if it gets really bad two paracetemol and two nurofen plus with codiene. hmmmm Sleepy sleep.

Red wine? Telly and computers late at night? A combination of Magnesium Citrate and Omega 3 oils can help a lot. Doesn’t work immediately though.
Mate I’d hit the tabs straight away, Zopiclone aids restful sleep, but at least you’re sleeping till 4.
