I wrote a letter to the Head Honcho of the organisation that manages my building on behalf of the council. I stated that I had considered marking it as a formal complaint but instead thought it was probably better to make a constructive contribution. My points were mostly about giving people better information sooner and engaging with stakeholders like me who have to pay the bills but get virtually no say in what the money goes on.
Dear Mr Eyes
Thank you for your letter to the Head Honcho.
As stated in your letter, you would prefer this to be treated as constructive contribution therefore, it’s being dealt with as a general enquiry, and has been sent to the Director of Property Services to address the issues raised.
A response will be sent to you by 5 November 2013.
Kind regards

Bit of a damp squib! Build an wickerperson for atop the bonfire!!
Similarly:
I’ve been conducting my union duties (H&S Rep) in a spirit of reasonableness. Some issues have dragged on for years.
The only things that have worked is whistle-blowing and ‘stopping the job.’
The fuckers might have spent another £5k of my money by November!
Hey Blues!
Just up sticks and come down to a place like Wadhurst, next to the station, same journey time, great local pub, and you can be near ‘Disgusteds of tunbridge Wells’!
I don’t live there, but loads of happy people do!
The burbs? Relying on a railway timetable? No thanks. I still wouldn’t be able to afford a freehold anyway.
It takes me 20 minutes to get to work and I can walk if I fancy it. I have a great local pub. I just want the council to be less shit.
And anyway, while all the shenanigans with the S20s I wouldn’t be able to sell my place if I wanted to!
