5 Aug 2025. Renewed the plates for the Toy online. The cost a little more than last year - go figure.
Two of my favorite teams Mets and Yanks are doing poorly. Mets aren't hitting and Yanks look like a bunch of Noobs. Bird who they got from the Rocks cost them a win over the Texans last night. John Gray who Texas got from the Rocks looked great. He's got really long hair now.
Going to kill the playing with the background color for now. I'll set that css command that will do dark if your system is set to dark.
4 Aug 2025. Found another program that doesn't work in my Sequoia oclp install on my old trashcan. It is the vs code editor. The Zed editor is too hard to set up so I'm sticking with vim, Sublime and text edit.
Trying an audible sub from Amazon. Also trying some background and font things.
3 Aug 2025. My typing is turtle slow. Rocks won again, Yanks are looking very Rockies like. Hope McMahon isn't contagious. My little scripts to transfer files to the server worked.
Sometimes I use the Sublime editor which I bought BTW and sometimes I use vim because it's cool but I'm real slow with it as I know but a few of it's commands. I'll use ms code sometimes but don't care for all the popups.
I've been reading some books by Richard Elliot Friedman. I stumbled on this guy on the tube and enjoyed a class he has there. Surprised I'm interested in this stuff.
2 Aug 2025. Some fun base ball the last few days. The trade deadline was frantic. A couple of Rocks went to the Yankees. Then last night Pit scores nine runs in the first but the Rocks come back and win it. The Yanks new pitchers totally blow their chance to make a good first impression and cost a loss with the help of another newbie utility guy.
