Good questions. Right. I better answer the obvious questions first: I deleted the old blog because I realised that I might be shooting myself in the foot a bit with my career. As some of you know I am embarking on a new career which will put me in a more – ahem – customer-facing role. The last thing I want to happen is for a customer to Google me and start making assumptions. More importantly, I don’t want my political views to interfere with the new career. The people at the top of my new employer are not sympathetic to my views and so I don’t want there to be a conflict. If you are confused then so be it I am not going to talk about it on here!
Obviously I can’t put much more about this business on here without revealing my true colours in the first post. It’s not that hard to work out, really so use your brains.
While this blog is “anonymous”, I realise that most of the readers will know perfectly well who I am (as in my name, where I live, etc.). The point of being “anon” is so that casual observers won’t be able to link my day job with my blogging. The last thing I want to happen is for colleagues or customers to come up to me and say hey I enjoyed/hated that thing you posted the other day. I have come to enjoy blogging but it is not my main source of income and career comes first here! I felt that on the old blog I couldn’t necessarily say exactly what I wanted to say in the way I wanted to say it because there was always a string attached. This way I can be truer to myself, I think. Of course nobody is properly anonymous and there will be no prizes for “outing” me. And just because I am no longer putting my name to this blog doesn’t mean I’m going to start libeling people or slagging off my bosses.
I hope that’s enough for now, back to proper blogging.
PS sorry about the dismal layout, I will work on it in due course.

Hi Blue Eyes:
I am affectionately known
as ‘blue eyes’ by family, friends, some blogging chums (including Mermaid of Moorgate),
Strangely enough I do have Blue Eyes, have similar views, politically, as yourself, and am an Aquarian!
Being an Aquarian must make you a very out-going and zany type, great sense of humour have true compassion for mankind, warm and loving, generous to a fault, etc, etc.
Oh and modest too !
As you may know I used to post under the pseudonym True Blue. Then, at Scroblenè’s suggestion changed it to Trubes. (The TB name was getting mis-used by stupid NuLab Trolls.
So, here’s looking at you ‘Blue Eyes’, and good luck with your renaming, etc.
Thanks for stopping by Trubes! I hope I am not stepping on your toes by calling myself Blue Eyes.
I don’t think I am that type of Aquarian. I am more of the misery guts Scrooge type.
I got worried! Glad you’re back, not that I rant too much on your blog!
A rather belated welcme back fom us too.(No need to ack).
Ranter I like your rants elsewhere feel free to unburden yourself here (or even do a guest post if you fancy it!)
Grumps thanks for stopping by. It’s good that my blogging buddies have shown my regulars the way here.
